-- Personal Touch Fitness has expanded their menu of services and moved to a new location. The new fitness studio offers more square footage, allowing Personal Touch Fitness Trainers to offer larger fitness classes, with an array of choices. Personal Touch offers one-on-one fitness training and group classes for adults and children alike. Certified trainers will conduct a fitness assessment and put clientele through a personalized fitness training routine.             All training sessions begin with an Individualized Fitness Assessment, which includes a 3 minute step test measuring the level of cardiovascular fitness, a stretching test and a body-fat analysis. The results along with a personalized health history and fitness goals are used to determine a personal fitness training workout plan and nutritional guidelines and recommendations. Personal Touch Fitness provides its clients with three essential components of fitness – strength training, flexibility, and cardiovascular training. Sessions are available in 30, 45, and 60 minute segments.             According to Sheila Dunn, Certified Fitness Trainer, “fitness is the cornerstone to a healthy and productive life. My fitness training plan is simple, gentle, yet effective. We offer a variety of balance, strength, flexibility and coordination enhancing exercises to help you reach your goals for a fit and healthy life.” Ms. Dunn is a member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, the American Aerobic Association International and the International Sports Medicine Association. She has been practicing fitness training both in New York City and New Jersey for over 10 years.             Also, available at the Personal Touch Fitness studio are classes in Beginner’s Hatha Yoga, Pilates on the Ball, Half Hour Lunchtime Circuit Training, Mommy and Me, and Kids Fun and Fitness. Kid’s classes use a variety of fun props and a circuit training type of obstacle course which offers an excellent cardiovascular workout as well as a strengthening workout for growing muscles and a healthy heart. Classes are kept small and intimate to provide each participant with individual guidance and attention. Mommy and Me is offered for 4 months – 12 months, 12 months – 2 years, and 2 years – 3 years. A Tiny Tots class is offered for 4 – 6 year olds. This is an interactive fun class using props, musical instruments and a fitness circuit. These kid’s classes train children to have better balance and coordination while interacting and having fun with their peers.    Personal Touch Fitness Trainers are also available to train you in your home. Each trainer has a special area of expertise, such as . Pre and Post Natal, senior armchair fitness, ball workouts, kid’s fitness, high school age fitness, men’s fitness, women’s fitness, and more.
